Small Grants Program Application

All applicants must be non-profit organizations as determined by the Internal Revenue Service. A copy of the organization’s IRS Letter of Determination must be provided with the organization’s application. Projects that improve or create wildlife habitat in South Dakota are eligible for funding. Projects must have a minimum request of $5,000 and a maximum request of $40,000.

Show how the project is expected to be funded. The amount requested from our Small Grants Program for individual grants must be at least $5,000 but no more than $40,000. If other funding sources are available for the project in the form of partner funding, please describe how that funding will be used and where it comes from. Donated (volunteer) time, activities and or expenses should be described briefly also.
